This video tutorial shows you everything that you need to know in order to start a new photoshop project. It shows you how to first create a new document, and how to title it. Next, the video explains how to import an image, which seams very simple. Next, the video explains the software interface in photoshop. The history tool will definitely be very useful because I am new to photoshop and will likely make a lot of mistakes. Lastly, the video went over the basic editing tools associated with photoshop. For example, the move and selection tools.

This video shows you how to use photoshop to cut out images. Firstly, they show you how to use the remove background tool. In order to use this, you have to select the image layer, and then select subject. After that, all you have to do is select remove background. Another method for doing this is the object selection tool. This tool is available in your tool bar. Draw a rectangle around your subject, and then the object selection tool will form an active selection around the subject.

This tool gets rid of objects in your images and replaces them with background. Another tool this video discusses is the last tool, which you can use of you want to work on a very small selection. Another tool that was mentioned is the pen tool, which you use when you want to be very particular about your edits. The video also explains how to make, name, and use layers in photoshop.
